Kamakura Corporation is seeking a full time, experienced SQL Server Developer to join our team in Honolulu HI.

Job details include:

• Develop and maintain SQL Server stored procedures
• Design, implement, maintain and optimize database structures and queries
• Provide database administration and support for Microsoft SQL Server
• Troubleshoot stored procedures and data related issues
• Develop and manage data extraction and analysis procedures
• Perform various data analysis and modeling projects
• Interested candidates should have a Bachelors or Advanced Degree in Computer Science, Math, Ops Research, Economics, or Engineering
• Candidate should possess strong conceptual and quantitative problem-solving skills, flexibility and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing, highly complex environment

Experience in database development/management using MS SQL Server or Oracle.  Programming experience in dot net, Java, C++ or other languages is required and experience using statistical software packages such as Stata or SAS and background in Economics/Finance is desirable.
